The first of the month and the first of a month-long series of posts – somewhat enigmatic and probably pointless - that are NOT going to be called either the ‘first’ series nor the ‘month’ series but which are nonetheless themed even if they are NOT themed on ‘borrowed’ which Mary suggested in a recent comment and which is a much better suggestion than the one I have.
